Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial Trust

Every year 15 needy/ meritorious students are awarded scholarships of Rs. 4000/- each by the Principal Harbhajan Singh Memorial Trust instituted by his family in the memory of the founder Principal of the college.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Scheduled Castes

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial assistance to the Scheduled Caste students studying at Post-Matric or Post-Secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. These scholarships are paid to the students whose parents’/guardians’ income from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2,50,000/- per annum.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for the Other Backward Classes (OBCs)

The objective of the scheme is to provide financial0 assistance to the OBC students studying at Post-Matric or Post-Secondary stage to enable them to complete their education. Employed students whose income combined with the income of their parents/ guardians does not exceed Rs. 1 lac per annum as well as unemployed students whose parents’/ guardians’ income does not exceed Rs. 1 lac per annum are entitled to the scholarship under the scheme.

Post-Matric Scholarship Scheme for Minority Communities

The objective of the scheme is to award scholarships to meritorious students belonging to economically weaker sections of minority communities from class XI to Ph.D. so as to provide them better opportunities for higher education increase their rate of attainment in higher education, and enhance their employability. Students belonging to Muslim/ Christian/ Sikh/ Buddhist/ Parsi communities who have secured not less than 50% marks in the previous final examination and the annual income of whose parents/ guardians from all sources does not exceed Rs. 2 lac are eligible for the scholarship under the scheme.

Special Grant for Girl Students belonging to Scheduled Castes

The girl students belonging to Scheduled Castes whose parents’/ guardians’ annual income does not exceed Rs. 60, 965/- are entitled to the special grant of Rs. 50/- and Rs. 60/- per month for Post-Matric and Post-Graduate studies, respectively.

Panjab University Scholarships

SUNNY OBEROI SCHOLARSHIPS SCHEME

SARBAT DA BHALA CHARITABLE TRUST (SDBCT) is a philanthropic body dedicated to the cause of extending economic benefits to the underprivileged and hitherto neglected sections of the society. The Trust grants financial assistance under SUNNY OBEROI SCHOLARSHIPS SCHEME. The grant of this scholarship is a step in this direction where intelligent and hard working students are helped to pursue their higher education.
Eligibility:
Students covered under following categories are eligible to apply for the above said scholarships:
1. Students belonging to economically weaker section
2. A student who has lost his/her father (earning member of the family)
3. Students whose mother is a divorcee, and is not getting any supporting allowance from the husband.
4. Student whose families are affected by natural disaster.
5. Students who are differently abled.
6. Students recommended by Managing Trustee of Sarbat Da Bhala Charitbale Trust (Regd.)

Rules:
Following rules will be applicable for the selection of candidate:
1. Students whose parents annual income is less than one lac rupees.
2. Student must fulfill the mandatory class attendance conditions.
3. Student must not be getting scholarship/stipend on the basis of SC/BC category or Sikh Minority community Scholarship Scheme. They must first approach concerned authorities before applying to the Trust.
4. Students must have more than 65% marks in qualifying examination.
4 (a) The Scholarship will be paid by the Trust as per following formula depending on the performance of applicants in immediately previous examination/Semester.

Marks:

95% and Above 100% OF TUTION FEE ONLY*
81% – 94% 75% OF TUTION FEE ONLY*
65% – 80% 50% OF TUTION FEE ONLY*
65% & Below No Concession to be granted at all.

*All other charges, fee & funds etc will be borne by applicants.

NOTE:

The Scholarship/Stipend forms can be collected at the time of admission. The students eligible for scholarship / stipend must submit these forms along with their admission form duly completed in all respects and attested by the appropriate authorities. The scholarship/stipend form not submitted by the due date notified by the college will not be entertained.
Students belonging to SC/OBC/Minority Communities must apply on-line for the scholarship before the due date.
