Growing up, my life was filled with joy, opportunity, change, and turbulence. But one thing that my father always taught me was the power of fighting for your dreams. I had the incredible privilege of witnessing him make his dreams a reality, and now I strive to do the same.<\/span><\/p><h2><strong>The Importance of Pursuing Your Passions<\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Whether your passion is part of your career path, or simply a way to feel more fulfilled, it is important to cultivate them. Life is more than work, and it&#8217;s important to find joy and satisfaction in what makes you happy. Multiple studies have shown that <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ucmerced.edu\/sites\/ucmerced.edu\/files\/documents\/zawadzki-paper-2015.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">pursuing your passions reduces stress<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, increases motivation, and overall happiness.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Following your passion will bring you closer to the person you want to be. No matter what, the accomplishment and sense of meaning that comes from knowing you are taking the steps to become the best version of yourself will make it worth it.<\/span><\/p><h2><strong>How Do You Live the Life You Crave?<\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s a big question with a deceptively simple answer\u2014you just do it. One day you might wake up and realize you are not where you want to be. The next step then isn\u2019t to resign yourself to your present situation but to choose change. I believe that every person is the composer of their life\u2019s symphony, and I call this strategy <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/qodemakers.com\/muralys\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Maestro Mindset<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It\u2019s easier said than done, but nothing changes until you take that first step. Figure out what\u2019s holding you back from taking this step right now. Is it fear? Or insecurity? Maybe you just feel dissatisfied with life and don\u2019t know how to fix it. Remember that every dream starts with an idea, a motive, or a wish. It&#8217;s a desire to be part of something bigger than who, and what, you are.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You might argue that chasing your passion is a luxury; people have responsibilities after all. While this is true, change doesn\u2019t have to happen overnight. Maybe your passion is something small that you can do every day just to feel happier. Maybe it\u2019s a skill you could practice until it becomes easier to do. Remember that your passion gives you fulfillment, so don\u2019t look at it as a chore. Figure out where your free time is, and use it to the fullest. Everything starts with a single step.<\/span><\/p><h2><strong>Living My Dreams<\/strong><\/h2><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">One of my passions lies in films and I absolutely love acting. Articulating my dream and living my passion resulted in me being cast in a soon to be released independent film. I\u2019ve also been invited to participate on a panel at the Reelworld Film Festival to talk about the move. It\u2019s all incredibly exciting and wouldn\u2019t have happened had I not taken that first step.
