Department of M.Sc Instrumentation Science ,S.G.G.S Khalsa College, Mahilpur organized a one day workshop for M.Sc Instrumentation and M.Sc Physics students on Industrial Automation (PLC/SCADA) on 9th April,2018. Workshop was inaugurated by Dr. Parvinder Singh(Principal) and Prof. Davinder Thakur(HOD, Instrumentation).
The event was held in the presence of Dr. Parvinder Singh (Principal), Prof. Pawandip Cheema (Vice Principal) and Prof. Jagg Singh (Ex-Principal).
The event was inaugurated by the Chief guest Lalitesh Kumar Singh, Technical Branch Head and HOD of SOFCON India Pvt. Ltd., Mohali.
He gave a speech regarding the PLC and SCADA importance and its advanced technologies with respect to PLC programming and integration with SCADA, he also highlighted the major applications of PLC and SCADA with respect to process industries such as milk, pharmaceutical and manufacturing industries etc.
The technical session was handled by the instrumentation departments two students named Shobha and Sabhyata Yadav .The One-day workshop was Co-ordinated and organized by Er. Davinder kumar (Assistant Professor, Department of Instrumentation) and Er. Sukhvinder Singh (Assistant Professor, Department of instrumentation).
